SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: Ranges up to a maximum of $1,000

Terms & Conditions

• Awards may only be applied to tuition, fees, room and board and books.
• Recipients must attend an accredited post-secondary educational institution in the fall of 2026 as a full-time student (12 credit hours or more/semester).
• The total award amount is sent in late August directly to the college or institution and is not paid or reimbursed to the student. It is up to the recipient to decide how funds should be divided over the Fall and Spring semesters.
• Recipients must submit verification of enrollment and full-time status before checks are sent.

Eligibility

• Must be graduating high school senior.
• Must have a volunteer registration on file, and have completed a minimum of 10 volunteer hours at RMHC of Siouxland.
• Must be enrolled at an accredited post-secondary educational institution (including colleges, universities, junior colleges, vocational institutes & trade schools).
• Must submit a complete application with all required documents.

Required Documents

• Completed Scholarship Application
• Applicant’s certified grades with cumulative GPA and courses taken
• A personal statement from the applicant, 500-1000 words, answering the following: How has your family come together to overcome a challenge?
