How we support our Mission

Here at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Siouxland, we have several programs that support our mission of supporting families by providing the comforts of home while their child receives medical care.

Our house in Sioux City is open to  families with a child age 21 and younger receiving medical care. That includes both in-patient and out-patient treatment at the hospitals or other rehabilitation or therapy facility.

Our five Family Kitchens are stocked with meals, snacks and beverages, and are accessible 24 hours a day at medical facilities across Siouxland.

The Ronald McDonald Family Lunch Program provides nutritious, no-cost meals to all families staying with children at UnityPoint Health - St. Luke'sChild Advocacy Center- MercyOne Siouxland, and Child Health Specialty Clinics.

The Ronald McDonald Compassion Kits bring the comforts of home directly to the family members of children in the hospital.

We are proud to offer scholarship opportunities to graduating high school seniors who have volunteered at RMHC of Siouxland, or whose family has stayed at RMHC of Siouxland.
