Christy Batien Clark
Executive Director
Christy joined the Ronald McDonald House of Siouxland as Executive Director in October 2015. In her time leading the organization, she has helped grow the House from 6 to 7 bedrooms and launched both the Ronald McDonald Family Kitchen and Lunch Programs — expanding the ways we support families in need.
Christy was drawn to this work by a deep love for families and a desire to help during life's hardest moments. When she's not at the House, you'll find her keeping up with her two daughters and husband Kevin, or out for a walk with her yorkie, Daisy.

Sydney Palmer
Fundraising and Events Coordinator
Sydney's connection to Ronald McDonald House of Siouxland started with the Family Lunch Program through the Tyson Summer Internship. She loved the mission so much she never really left, joining the team full-time in 2022 and growing into her current role as Fundraising and Events Coordinator.
A Morningside University graduate, Sydney is working toward her Master of Science in Administration with a focus on Organizational Leadership and Nonprofit Management at the University of South Dakota. When she's not studying at a local coffee shop, she's at the dog park with her four-legged friend, Anna!

Samantha Juhl
Programs Manager
Sam joined the Ronald McDonald House of Siouxland as Programs Manager in February 2024, bringing with her a genuine gift for making families feel welcomed and cared for. Raised in Remsen, Iowa, in a big, loving family, Sam has always known that showing up for others is what matters most and brings that nurturing spirit to work every day.
Sam and her husband Damian, have their hands full raising their daughter Helena on the farmstead they bought from her parents. When she gets a quiet moment, you'll find Sam knitting, crocheting, or reading on the front porch with her dog Frasier.

Family Care Coordinators
Our Family Care Coordinators are the friendly faces families meet the moment they walk through our door. From check-in to check-out, they oversee the family experience, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, supported, and at ease during one of life's most stressful times. They keep our House running smoothly, maintain a clean and comfortable environment, and make sure families have everything they need — whether that's a room key, a resource, or simply a warm hello.
It takes flexibility, heart, and a great sense of humor, and our Family Care Coordinators bring all three, every single day.
