The little smiles add up!
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Siouxland provides a place for families to stay while their child receives care at a nearby medical facility.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Siouxland gives a family with a sick child what they need most — each other.
For families traveling to Sioux City for a child's care, we offer a place to stay steps from the hospital. But our reach goes further — into the hospitals themselves, where families are already spending their days and nights. Wherever a family is in their journey, we stay with them.
How We Help
Everything we do is built around one simple belief: a family that stays together heals together.
Ronald McDonald House
When a child is receiving care away from home, we offer place to stay in Sioux City — steps from the hospital, at little or no cost — so families never have to be far from their child's side.
Family Kitchen
When you haven't eaten in hours, our Family Kitchens are there — stocked and open 24 hours, for any family with a child in the hospital — because taking care of yourself is part of taking care of your child.
Family Lunch Program
A complete, no-cost meal ready and waiting — no need to leave the hospital. Our Family Lunch Program means one less thing to worry about, and one more way to stay close.
Compassion Kits
When you're rushing to the hospital, the last thing on your mind is packing a bag. Our Compassion Kits — a canvas tote filled with toiletries, books, and comfort items — carry a simple but powerful reminder: someone in this community sees you.
