What Our Chapter Does

Keeping families with sick children close to each other and the care and resources they need. Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Siouxland provides a place for families to stay and nutritious meals while their child receives care at area medical facilities.

Our House

The Ronald McDonald House in Sioux City is open to any family with a child age 21 and younger receiving medical care, offering a safe and comfortable place to stay at little or no cost.

Family Kitchen

The Ronald McDonald Family Kitchen is open to all families with a child in the hospital. There are 3 kitchens in Sioux City 3 additional Siouxland kitchens in  LeMars, Storm Lake and Cherokee, Iowa.

Family Lunch Program

The Ronald McDonald Family Lunch Program provides nutritious, no-cost meals to all families with children receiving care at UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s and Mercy One Siouxland.
