How You Can Help
Families who stay at the RMHC of Siouxland face a great deal of uncertainty, stress and emotional exhaustion in their situations. Please know that your donation brings light to the dark times that these families are facing, often resulting in tears of gratitude for your support. To make a cash donation, click here.
You Make Healing Possible
Many of the families who stay with RMHC are not in a position to make a financial donation toward their stay. Our organization depends almost entirely on generous public and private donations to make our services available.
Thank you to all of those who have so generously donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Siouxland, including those who have donated pop tabs, quilts, stuffed animals and baked goods. Every gift, large or small, lightens someone’s burden at the Ronald McDonald House.

Caring Cooks/Guest Chefs
This volunteer opportunity allows individuals and groups to provide for the weekly family meal that we host here at Ronald McDonald House of Siouxland. We also provide snacks and grab-n-go meals at the RMHC Family Kitchen located at UnityPoint/St. Luke’s Hospital.
All food for snacks and meals must be prepared at the Ronald McDonald House in one of our kitchens or brought in from a commercial kitchen (like a restaurant) or prepackaged from a grocery store. We can no longer accept food that isn’t prepared at the House or brought in from a non-commercial kitchen or grocery store. You or your group may do this on a regularly scheduled basis or only occasionally.
Pop Tab Collection
Pop Tabs can make a huge impact on our guests. Find out more about pop tab donations here.

There are times in all of our lives where we need to be brave – whether for ourselves, for our family, for our friends, or even for a complete stranger. Bravelets bracelets are more than just something to wear on your wrist. All Bravelets jewelry and accessories are symbols of hope, strength and courage. They are designed to help you be brave in the toughest of times.

Donate A Vehicle
The process of donating your vehicle is simple and quick, but the benefits last much longer. You’ll help children and families in need, and also get rid of that old vehicle; you may even qualify for a tax deduction. For more information, visit OneCarHelpsRMHC.com or call 855-227-7435.
Honorarium and Memorial Gifts
Honor gifts that recognize a personal achievement or milestone (like a birthday, wedding or anniversary) are a great way to support the House. You can also make a memorial gift to honor the memory of a loved one. A card will be sent to the person of your choice, notifying them of the gift. You can donate financially by going to our Donate Now page.
Thrivent Financial allows its members to show support for organizations through the Thrivent Choice program. To learn more, check out the Thrivent Financial website.

The RMHC Donation Box at McDonald’s
Many McDonald’s restaurants have RMHC Donation Boxes displayed by cash registers and drive-thru windows. Your spare change quickly adds up. In 2012, $28 million dollars was raised from the McDonald’s coin boxes across the United States!
