RMHC Scholarship Program

RMHC of Siouxland is once again offering scholarships to both high school graduates and Alumni Scholarships to previous RMCH scholarship winners!

Applications for graduating high school seniors will be available starting OCT 1, 2012 and are due on DECEMBER 20, 2012!! To apply, CLICK HERE or go to www.rmhc.org. (Choose the tab "WHAT WE DO" and then choose RMHC U.S. Scholarships).

Applications will be processed, reviewed and winners selected by a committee of RMHC Board members and community members - recipients are selected based on their academic achievement, financial need, volunteer and community service and personal statements and recommendations. Winners will be contacted in April, 2013.

The Alumni Scholarships are due June 1, 2013 and students will be chosen to receive $1500 scholarships to assist them in continuing their educations. RMHC of Siouxland is proud to offer assistance to students to further their education.

Since 2003, the RMHC of Siouxland has awarded close to 100 scholarships to high school seniors of $1000-$1500 each. With matching funds from Global RMHC, in 2003-2011, almost 100 scholarships have been awarded in all four RMHC programs: HACER (for students of Hispanic heritage), FUTURE ACHIEVERS (for students of African/American heritage), the ASIA/PACIFIC program (for students of Asian/Pacific heritage) and the NATIONAL RMHC program (for all students, regardless of heritage).

Are You Interested in Applying?

All high school seniors are eligible to apply for a scholarship provided they will be attending a certified higher learning institution the next Fall semester.

High School students may apply online starting October 1, 2012. To apply, go to www.rmhc.org to apply! Graduating high school seniors may apply for only one of the four scholarships. The four types of scholarship available include: RMHC®/Scholars, RMHC®/Asia, RMHC®/African-American Future Achievers, and RMHC®/HACER®. Applicants will be notified of scholarship award status by April/May 2013. The deadline to apply for the 2012-13 academic year is December 20, 2012.
